High School Mountain Biking

The Richmond Composite Mountain Bike Team is made up of high school student athletes and adult coaches who ride mountain bikes for any number of reasons: community, exercise, exploration, racing, adventure, smiles, fun, personal goals, competition, beauty, nature, mud and dust, going fast, fresh air, screams of delight, adrenaline, serenity, and innumerable others. Team rides takes place in groups with trained coaches and explore areas such as Wildcat and Tilden Regional Parks as well as the Bay Trail, Point Pinole Regional Park and the many Richmond City parks.

We ride as a team within the NorCal League, which is made up of 73 other teams numbering over 1,200 student athletes from all over Northern California. The NorCal League is one of 30 leagues throughout the United States governed by NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association).

Check out these inspiring videos to learn about high school mountain biking from local NorCal student athletes.

We have a lot of respect for the Skyline High School Bike Team. Go Jesus!

We love this video showcasing female student athletes from our NorCal League.
